Fried Prawns

Shrimp tempura is originally a Japanese recipe, but as you know, the Filipinos like to embrace good food especially from other countries, so shrimp tempura has become a very popular dish in the Philippines.
Ingredients
  Shrimp 1 Pound
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Corn starch 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Instant mashed potato 2 Tablespoon
  Club soda 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Panko bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooking oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

A.Straighten out the shrimp just like what I did on the video.
B.Mix the flour, cornstarch, instant mashed potato, salt and pepper into a mixing bowl.
C.Add the club soda and whisk it.
D.Wait for a few minutes until the batter thickens up.
E.Dip the shrimp in the batter and in the Panko bread crumb.
F.Deep fry until golden brown.
G.Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
