|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Fresh grated ginger/1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|Sirloin tip||1 Pound, cut into thin strips|
|Fresh whole green beans||1⁄2 Pound|
|Carrots||4 Large, cut into 3-inch sticks|
For marinade combine soy sauce, sugar, and ginger.
Add meat and let stand 1 to 2 hours.
Meanwhile cook vegetables till barely tender.
Wrap half the meat strips around bundles of 3 or 4 beans; repeat with remaining meat and carrot sticks.
Thread kabobs on 2 parallel skewers, ladder-fashion.
Brush with melted butter.
Broil about 5 minutes, turning once.
