|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Mild bulk sausage/Ground pork||3⁄4 Pound|
|Cooked brown rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped seeded green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||3 Teaspoon, divided|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Mix all ingredients except the honey and 1 tablespoon of the soy sauce together thoroughly.
Shape into a loaf.
Put into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350° about 1 hour, or until pork is cooked.
When loaf is half cooked, blend the 1 tablespoon soy sauce with honey.
Spoon over loaf.
Use a meat thermometer or cook until juices run clear and meat has lost its pinkness.
