Japanese Marinated Salmon Fillets
|Salmon fillet||12 Ounce, cut into 4 serving size pieces|
|Low sodium soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Leek||6 Ounce, trimmed, cut in half lengthwise, rinsed, thinly sliced (1 Piece)|
|Julienned carrot||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (One 1/2 X 2/8-Inch Strips)|
Arrange salmon fillets skin-sides-up in 8-inch square baking dish.
In small mixing bowl, combine marinade ingredients.
Stir to dissolve sugar.
Pour mixture over fillets, turning fillets to coat.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Chill 1 hour.
Turn fillets skin-sides-down.
Sprinkle with leek and carrot.
Re-cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave at 70% (Medium High) for 8 to 9 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork, rearranging pieces twice.
