How To Make Bonito Chazuke
Chazuke refers to tea poured over rice eaten by the Japanese for dinner. It is made with leftover rice. Chazuke has various toppings.
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Green tea||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bonito flakes||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Wasabi paste||1 Teaspoon|
|Cooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. In a bowl, mix thoroughly soy sauce and bonito flakes with a chopstick.
2. Add the bonito mixture on top of cooked rice and submerge the rice with green tea.
3. Garnish the rice with wasabi paste and serve.
