|Diced boiled ham||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Onions||2 Medium, coarsely chopped|
|Celery stalks||2 , sliced|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , seeded and diced|
|Canned whole tomatoes||28 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Tomato paste||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), minced|
|Minced parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Thyme leaf||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Raw long grain converted rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shrimp||1 Pound, shelled and cleaned (Fresh Or Frozen)|
Thoroughly mix all ingredients except shrimp in crock pot.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
One hour before serving, turn crock pot to high setting.
Stir in uncooked shrimp.
Cover and cook until shrimp are pink and tender.
