|Broiler fryer chicken||1 , cut up|
|Onions||3 , chopped|
|Carrot||1 , sliced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Canned tomatoes||14 Ounce, cut up|
|Shelled shrimp||1 Pound (raw)|
|Cooked rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
In slow-cooking pot, combine chicken with onions, carrots, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and tomatoes.
Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours.
Turn control to high.
Add shrimp and rice.
Cover and cook on high for 30 to 40 minutes or until shrimp is done.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
