Jambalaya Chicken and Shrimp
|Broiler fryer chicken||1 , cut in parts|
|Canned tomatoes||12 Ounce, mashed|
|Carrot||1 , peeled, sliced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled, minced|
|Shelled shrimp||1 Pound (Raw)|
|Cooked rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1) In a slow cooker, place the chicken pieces with all the other ingredients except the rice and shrimp.
2) Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
3) Then add the shrimp and rice, cover and cook on HIGH for 35 minutes.
4) Serve immediately on individual serving plates.
