Jambalaya Chicken And Shrimp

Ingredients
  Broiler fryer chicken 1 , cut in parts
  Canned tomatoes 12 Ounce, mashed
  Carrot 1 , peeled, sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), peeled, minced
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shelled shrimp 1 Pound (Raw)
  Cooked rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a slow cooker, place the chicken pieces with all the other ingredients except the rice and shrimp.
2) Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
3) Then add the shrimp and rice, cover and cook on HIGH for 35 minutes.

SERVING
4) Serve immediately on individual serving plates.
