Shrimp And Ham Jambalaya

A southern Louisiana style delight, this Jambalaya is just right when you have a big group over for dinner. Minimum effort and great taste is what it promises. Relish the flavors that make it such a wonderful dish.
  Ham 1 Pound, cut into cubes
  Shrimps 2 Pound, cleaned and de-veined
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Bell pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), finely diced
  Green onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Parsley 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Whole peeled tomatoes 1 Can (10 oz)
  Rice 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Dash
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Take a pan, add ¼ cup butter and 2 tbsp oil. Add onions, celery, bell peppers and garlic. Saute for 5-7 minutes. Add ham and sauté for another 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, green onions, 1 ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper, ¼ tsp cayenne pepper and approximately ½ tbsp worchestershire sauce. Add the water and rice. Bring to a boil. Add ½ of the chopped parsley. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Serve with crispy french bread.
