Ingredients
  Ripe figs 2 Quart
  Lemon slices 2
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Directions

Wash figs, peel and remove stems.
Mash and add lemon and water.
Cook until soft.
Add sugar and cook until thick, stirring to prevent burning.
Remove lemon, pour into clean hot jars and seal.
