|Blanched almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), shredded|
|Confectioner's sugar||2 Tablespoon|
1.Start by preheating the oven to 450F degrees
2.Roll puff paste to 1/8 inch thickness.
3.Trim edges to make a sheet 10 x 7 inches.
4.Place on cookie sheet and make a 1/2 inch rim around the edge.
5.Prick with fork and chill thoroughly.
6.Bake in very hot oven (450Â° F.) for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
8.Spread jam over all, cover with meringue, sprinkle almonds over top, then sugar.
