Spiced Apple And Fig Jam
|Apples||3 Large, peeled and chopped|
|Dried figs||500 Gram, chopped|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Mixed spice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Combine apples, figs and water in a 3-litre casserole.
Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes on HIGH, 2.
Stir in sugar, pectin and mixed spice.
Cook, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes on HIGH, stirring 2-3 times during cooking.
Test that jam gels.
Pour into sterilised jars and seal.
