Paradise Pear Jam

Ingredients
  Pears 2 Pound
  Orange 1 Medium
  Lemon 1 Medium
  Canned crushed pineapple 8 1⁄2 Ounce
  Maraschino cherries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Powdered fruit pectin 1 3⁄4 Ounce
Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients in a large Dutch oven, stirring well; bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently.
Add sugar, and return to a boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, and skim off foam with a metal spoon.
Quickly ladle jam into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace; cover at once with metal lids, and screw bands tight.
Process in boiling-water bath 15 minutes.
