Strawberry Jam

Ingredients
  Mixed ripe and underripe strawberries 3 Pint
  Sugar 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Crush fruit, using blender, food press or stainless-steel potato masher.
Measure 4 cups into large saucepan, and stir in sugar and lemon juice.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Continue stirring and boiling until thick, about 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, and skim and stir alternately for 3-4 minutes.
Ladle into hot jelly glasses, and cover with melted paraffin immediately.
Makes about 6 (6-ounce) jars.
