Choke cherry jam

If you thought jams needed a lot of time and effort and was just not possible, here's help. This easy and simple choke cherry jam makes it possible for you to combine your favorite fruits and now make jam right at home. Try it and do let me know how it turned out for you
Ingredients
  Choke cherries 3 Pound
  Powdered pectin 1 3⁄4 Ounce
  Sugar 5 Cup (80 tbs)
Directions

"Grind chokecherries; cover with boiling water.
Let stand overnight.
Strain through cheesecloth; reserve juice.
Mix 3 1/2 cups juice and pectin; bring to a boil.
Add sugar.
Bring to a rolling boil; boil for 1 minute.
Skim; pour into sterilized jars.
Seal with paraffin."
