1. In a pan, place the fruit and pour the water, keep simmering until the fruit turns soft, now add sugar to the pan, and keep stirring until the mixture has dissolved
2. Finally boil quickly and continually until the mixture has set.
3. Serve with muffins, bagels, scones, or toast. You can use it as a filling in pies, or eat it with pancakes.
