Freezer Blackberry Jam
|Frozen blackberries||2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs)|
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Powdered pectin||3⁄4 Ounce|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
1)In a 2-quart casserole of microwave, place blackberries at medium (50% power) for 4 to 5 minutes.
2)Stir it after half the defrosting time is over.
3)Let it stand for 5 minutes.
4)In the mixture add sugar and let it stand for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5)Combine pectin and water in a 4-cup glass measure and stir well.
6)Microwave at high for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until boiling.
7)Just after 45 seconds boil it for a minute and pour over the fruit.
8)Stir it for 3 minutes and pour into sterilized jelly glasses or frozen food containers.
9)Kepp it in room temperature for few hours.
10)You can store it in freezer up to 1 year or refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
11)Before serving serve it in a normal room temperature.
