Apricot Jam Red Jam Or Marmalade Sauce

Ingredients
  Apricot jam/Red jam / marmalade 2 Tablespoon (Homemade)
  Water 7 1⁄2 Fluid Ounce
  Lemon rind strips 2 (If Using Apricot Jam, Or Marmalade)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Arrowroot 1 Tablespoon, slaked with 1 tablespoon water
  Water 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan, add jam, water, lemon rind and sugar and while stirring, gently heat till the mix boils.
2) Check flavour and accordingly add a little more jam or marmalade.
3) Continue to simmer the mix for 5-6 minutes.
4) Discard the lemon rind and add the arrowroot to thicken, if required.

SERVING
5) Serve over tarts and flans.
