Blackcurrant Jam

Ingredients
  Blackcurrants 2 Pound, stemmed and washed
  Water 1 1⁄2 Pint
  Granulated sugar 3 Pound
  Butter 1 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a large saucepan, place the blackcurrants and water and allow it to come ot a boil; cover and turn the heat down
2. Simmer for forty minutes until the fruit is tender; add sugar nad allow to dissolve
3. Allow to boil and cook briskly for ten minutes; turn the heat off; add in butter to disperse scum, add to a jar and cover

SERVING
4. Serve as required
