Blackberry And Apple Jam

Ingredients
  Apples 2 Pound, prepared (900 Gram)
  Water 275 Milliliter
  Blackberries 2 Pound, hulled
  Preserving sugar 3⁄4 Pint
Directions

MAKING
1) In a preserving pan, add the apples with the water.
2) Allow to boil and gently simmer for about 15 min until tender; add the blackberries and continue to simmer for another 10-15 min.
3) Remove from the heat, stir in the sugar, reduce the heat, stir until the sugar disappears; allow to boil rapidly for 10-15 min, stirring occasionally.
4) Cool and store in clean, dry, airtight jars.

SERVING
5) Serve when desired.
