Homemade Peach Jam

Jams and spreads, especially this Peach Jam, have always been my favorite since childhood. Try out this deliciously prepared and incredibly tasting Peach Jam. Serve with love to your dear ones!
Ingredients
  Sugar 5 Pound
  Water 1 Pint
  Yellow peaches 6 Pound
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Halve the peaches, remove stones and peel and slice thinly.
Place the peach slices in a large saucepan, with a tight-fitting lid.
Add the water, cover to prevent evaporation and boil until quite soft, but not mushy, over a low heat.
Warm the sugar in the oven and add.
Increase-the heat and boil rapidly, without the when tested in a cold saucer.
Add the lemon juice during the last few minutes' boiling.
Bottle hot.
