Banana And Marrow Jam
|Bananas||1 Pound (Without Skins)|
|Marrow/Squash||1 Pound (When Cut Up)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Peel the marrow and remove the seeds, then cut into cubes and weigh.
Put into a basin and sprinkle the sugar over and leave until the next day.
Turn into a pan.
Bring to the boil and boil for about 30 minutes, then add bananas, fruit rind, juice and water.
Bring to the boil again and continue boiling until the jam is sufficiently thick.
