Jams and spreads, especially this Fig Jam, have always been my favorite since childhood. Try out this deliciously prepared and incredibly tasting Fig Jam. Serve with love to your dear ones!
Ingredients
  Figs 2 1⁄2 Pound
  Sugar 2 1⁄2 Pound
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Put the sugar, vinegar and water on to boil.
Cut up the figs.
When the liquid has been boiling for 10 minutes, put in figs, and cook very gently for 4 hours, or until mixture jells when tested.
Add some chopped preserved ginger, if liked.
