Jam Of Four Berries

Ingredients
  Strawberries 1 Quart
  Raspberries 1 Quart
  Currants 1 Quart
  Morello cherries 1 Quart
  Sugar 6 1⁄2 Cup (104 tbs)
Directions

Rinse the strawberries carefully and drain, then remove the stems.
Examine the raspberries, but do not rinse.
Rinse the currants and remove the stems.
Rinse the cherries and remove the stones.
Place the cherries in a large saucepan and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.
Add the strawberries, currants and raspberries and bring to a simmer.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Shake the pan occasionally, but do not stir with a spoon.
Add the sugar and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the syrup is thick.
Pour the jam into hot sterilized jars and seal.
