Apricot Pineapple Jam With Pectin

  Dried apricots 1⁄4 Pound, finely chopped
  Crushed pineapple/1 can, reserve syrup 20 Ounce, drained
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 6 1⁄2 Cup (104 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Liquid pectin 3 Ounce

Set Power Select at HIGH.
In 4-cup glass measure, combine apricots and reserved syrup; heat 1 to 2 minutes.
Set Power Select at MEDIUM.
Heat 3 to 4 minutes or until apricots are soft.
Add pineapple and enough water to equal 3 1/2 cups.
In large bowl, thoroughly combine fruit mixture, sugar and lemon juice.
Set Power Select at HIGH.
Heat 19 to 21 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring occasionally during first 7 minutes.
Heat an additional 1 minute.
Stir in pectin and skim off any foam; stir and skim foam for about 7 minutes.
Ladle into glasses; seal with paraffin.
