Pear And Apple Jam

Ingredients
  Diced pears 1 Pint
  Diced apples 1 Pint
  Lemon 1 , juiced and rind grated
  Sugar 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
Directions

Combine the pears, apples, lemon juice and rind and sugar in a large kettle.
Cook, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, over high heat until the pear mixture is thick and clear.
Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
