Red Plum Jam

|Sugar||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Plums||4 Cup (64 tbs), coarsely ground|
Pour the sugar over the plums and let stand for 1 hour.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the jam sheets from a spoon.
Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
