Cherry Strawberry Jam
|Water packed pitted tart cherries||20 Ounce (One 1-Pound 4-Ounce Can)|
|Frozen sliced strawberries||10 Ounce, thawed (1 Package)|
|Sugar||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Liquid fruit pectin||3 Ounce (1/2 Of 6 Ounce Bottle)|
Drain cherries; reserve juice.
Chop cherries; measure and add enough juice to make 2 cups.
Combine cherries, strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in large saucepan.
Bring to full rolling boil; boil hard 7 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in pectin at once.
Skim off foam.
Stir and skim for 5 minutes to prevent fruit from floating.
Ladle quickly into hot scalded jars.
Seal at once.
