Garden Strawberry Jam

  Hot water 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White vinegar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Strawberries 4 Cup (64 tbs), hulled
  Sugar 3 Cup (48 tbs)

In a saucepan, bring to a boil water, lemon juice and vinegar.
Add strawberries.
Remove from heat.
Macerate 2 minutes.
Add sugar.
Bring back to a boil.
Over moderate heat, cook 20 minutes or so.
