Damson Plum Jam

Ingredients
  Damson plums 1 Quart
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Wash plums, add water and cook until skins are tender.
Remove stones.
Measure fruit and add 2/3 cup sugar for each cup plums.
Cook quickly until thick.
Color should be bright red.
Pour into clean hot jars and seal.
