Microwave Strawberry Jam is an ultra fast and ultra easy jam recipe. Fresh strawberries are combined with sugar and lemon juice, then microwaved. Bottled in a sterilised jar, this jam will last for 3 months (unopened in the kitchen cupboard) or for about a week in the fridge after opening. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives - give it a go!
500 Gram, hulled and chopped
1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
FOR 500 gms:
In a large bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and mix well.
Microwave for 5 minutes in high setting.
Stir well and microwave for another 15 minutes.
Meantime freeze a plate for 15 minutes.
Once done, stir well and test the doneness as shown in the video.
Pour into sterilized jar and allow to cool completely.
