Homemade Jalapeno Powder

In Texas jalapeno powder is also known as "Texas Gunpowder". This turned out really good, the dehydrated peppers then ground to a powder, very potent and flavorful.
  Jalapeno chile peppers 1 1⁄4 Pound

1)On a cutting board halve the jalapeno peppers and set aside.
2)Place the peppers on the dehydrator tray and let it dehydrate at the temperature of 135 degrees overnight until they are nice and dry.
3)Powder the jalapenos in the nut grinder and store in an air tight container until further use.

4)Use this powder in your favorite recipes and enjoy!
