Stefano Manfredi

Stefano Manfredi, very well known as an international master of contemporary Italian cuisine, is a famous chef and cookbook author, who has earned a few renowned awards during his culinary career. The award of Sydney Morning Herald three chef hat in 1994 given to “The Restaurant Manfredi” was highly recognized. The chef is famous for his self developed coffee brand, "Espresso di Manfredi" by Piazza d'Oro.

Stefano Manfredi was born in Italy in the year 1954, and came up with various restaurants of his own since 1983 in Sydney. The most famous restaurant of the chef was “The Restaurant Manfredi”. Bel Mondo was also one of the popular restaurants of the chef, which was sold in the year 2002.

Stefano Manfredi began writing on cooking and food since the year 1988, and has four cookbooks to his credit which include Fresh From Italy (1993), Bel Mondo: Beautiful World (2000), Seasonal (2007), and Seasonal Italian Favourites (2009). Also, the chef works as a columnist on regular basis for “The Sydney Morning Herald”.

Stefano Manfredi has great level of presence in the international culinary industry where he is frequently invited to give lecture on food, to teach new cooking styles, and also to cook various kinds of delicious dishes. He pays frequent visits in Sydney, overseas, and interstate to impart his expert culinary knowledge. His presence in Mediterranean Gastronomy Conference in Stresa, Italy and The International Olive Oil Council in New Zealand is highly noteworthy. Further, Stefano Manfredi also cooked various dishes in Hong Kong, and Rome, which was really admired by people. Stefano’s representation as “The Taste of Australia” in New York along with Kylie Kwong and Neil Perry in January 2002, was highly appreciated and earned him huge international presence.
