Italian Dressing

Italian dressing is the most popular salad dressing all over the world. Not only for salads but italian dressing is used for seasoning the meat and vegetables dishes also.

Italian dressing is different from US-style Italian dressing. In Italy, salad dressing includes only olive oil, vinegar and salt. US version of Italian dressing is a kind of vinaigrette. It contains oil, vinegar, limejuice, sugar, salt, black pepper and sometimes dill and fennel. Italian dressing can be added to any kind of salad and can be prepared and bottled for future use.
