Italian Herb And Cheese Croutons
|Sourdough french bread loaf||1 , cubed|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted|
|Grated romano cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Basil leaves||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground pepper||1 Teaspoon|
Toss bread cubes and butter, then toss with cheeses and herbs until well mixed.
Spread on un-greased jelly-roll pan.
Bake at 250 Â°F until crisp and golden brown.
Stir every 15 minutes.
Cool; store in airtight container.
Keeps well 1 month.
