Linguine With Marinara Sauce
|Garlic cloves||2 Medium, sliced|
|Olive oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce, sieved (1 Can)|
|Salt||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Linguine||8 Ounce, cooked, drained|
Brown garlic in hotiolive oil in a large deep skillet.
Add gradually, stirring constantly, a mixture of the tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley.
Cook rapidly uncovered about 15 minutes, or until sauce is thickened; stir occasionally.
If sauce becomes too thick, stir in 1/4 to 1/2 cup water.
