Classic Italian Style Meat Sauce For Spaghetti

The Italian Spaghetti Sauce is a lovely sauce that is the highlight of my spaghetti preparations! This Italian Spaghetti Sauce has a unique and incomparable taste. Try it!
  Butter 14 Cup (224 tbs)
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Ground chuck 1⁄2 Pound
  Ground lean pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Ground veal 1⁄2 Pound
  Green pepper 1⁄2 , chopped
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), minced
  Onion 1 Large, minced
  Canned mushrooms 16 Ounce
  Canned tomato paste 6 Ounce
  Italian tomatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Pear Shaped)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry american wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Celery salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Bay leaves 2 , crumbled
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

In a 6-quart kettle heat butter and oil.
Add ground chuck, pork and veal.
Mix together thoroughly; brown.
Add all remaining ingredients; simmer until done to taste, about 1 hour and30 minutes.
Serve over cooked spaghetti.
Sauce may be frozen.
