Healthy Mini Pizza

From our Cooking with Dad series: Food Channel chef Trip Kadey and his daughter Lexy show that it’s not that hard to make a better-for-you homemade pizza. In fact, it’s not only easy, it’s fun, too. The Food Channel@ shows you a simple way to make a delicious and healthy mini pizza.
Ingredients
  Whole wheat pita 6 , cut in half (for pizza base)
For the topping
  Tomato sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (as neeeded)
  Mozarella cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (as neeeded)
  Chicken pieces 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (as neeeded)
  Steak pieces 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (as neeeded)
  Artichoke hearts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (as needed)
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (as neeeded)
  Chopped vegetables 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (as needed of your choice)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Chop all the vegetables which will be used for the topping.
2.Preheat the oven at 400 degrees F.

MAKING
3.On a mesh screen place the whole wheat pita and top it with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
4.Top it with the vegetables,steak, chicken pieces,onions or some other toppings of your choice.
5.Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.

SERVING
6.Serve with sauce and some herb seasoning sprinkled on top.
