Classic basil pesto from the ligurian region of Italy. Us on pasta, bread, chicken etc..
Ingredients
  Fresh basil leaves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Extra virgin olive oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Kosher salt 2 Pinch
  Toasted pine nuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic cloves 2 , peeled and crushed
  Ground pepper To Taste
  Grated parmigiano reggiano 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a food processor, put together all the ingredients except olive oil.
2. Put on the food processor and stream in the olive oil.
3. Open the lid, scrape the side of food processor and continue to blend and add olive oil, until the mixture gets coarse texture.

SERVING
4. Serve or use as desired.
