Italian Stewed Heart
|Mushrooms||1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Beef heart||2 Pound, sliced thin|
|Stock||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Tomato juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Nutritional yeast||3 Tablespoon|
Saute mushrooms and set aside.
Saute heart in same pan and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour into pan in which heart and mushrooms were cooked.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add mushrooms and heart to liquid cover again and simmer until heart is tender.
