Marinated Italian Beans

Ingredients
  Fresh green beans 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Italian salad dressing 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Commercial)
  Chablis/Other dry white wine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Tarragon vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Dried basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Whole)
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dried whole oregano 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Pimiento strips 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Wash beans, trim ends diagonally, and remove strings.
Place beans in a 12-x 8- x 2-inch baking dish.
Add water; cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 12 to 14 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
Drain well.
Combine salad dressing, wine, vinegar, basil, pepper, oregano, and garlic, stirring well.
Pour marinade over beans, cover and chill 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
Remove beans with a slotted spoon.
Garnish with pimiento strips.
