Rice And Pea Soup (Minestrone Di Riso E Piselli)

|Bacon slices||2 , chopped|
|Ham slice||1 , chopped|
|Onion||1 , minced|
|Chopped parsley||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Fresh green peas||2 Pound (1 kilogram)|
|Water||1 Liter (4 cups)|
|Rice||105 Gram, uncooked (1/2 cup)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||4 Tablespoon|
Saute the bacon, ham and onion in the butter until golden brown.
Add peas and parsley and cook for five minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the water and bring to a boil.
Stir in rice, salt and pepper to taste and cheese.
Cook over a medium heat until rice is tender.
