Toasted pine nuts | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (((can sub walnuts))) | |
Fresh basil | 2 Ounce | |
Extra virgin olive oil | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Salt and pepper | To Taste | |
Freshly grated parmesan cheese | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
MAKING
1. In food processor, pulse garlic and pine nuts until well chopped. Add basil and pulse again.
2. With the processor running, pour in the olive oil and then season with salt and pepper.
3. Add Parmesan cheese and pulse. Taste and adjust seasoning of salt.
SERVING
4. Serve on toast or with pasta and enjoy!
