Neapolitan Pork Chops
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Sliced onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Thinly sliced green pepper||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||1 Can (10 oz)|
Trim fat from chops.
Brown chops on both siaes in hot oil in skillet.
Saute onion, mush- rooms and green pepper in oil until tender.
Add to- matoes, oregano, salt and pepper; simmer for 5 min- utes.
Add pork chops; cover.
Simmer for 1 hour or until tender.
Uncover; simmer for 15 minutes longer if thicker sauce is desired.
