Clam Sauce Linguine

Ingredients
  Finely chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic 6 Clove (30 gm), minced
  Olive oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Minced clams 13 Ounce, undrained (2 Can, 6 1/2 Ounce Each)
  Chablis/Other dry white wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Crushed basil leaves 1 Teaspoon
  Dried whole thyme 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Coarsely ground pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cooked linguine 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Chopped parsley 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a medium-sized skillet, add onion and garlic in olive oil and saute them
2. Meanwhile, drain the clams and reserve 1/2 cup juice form the clams
3. In a skillet, add clam juice and wine and boil it for 10 minutes
4.Now stir in the clams, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper, and simmer it for 5 minutes
5. Place linguine and pour sauce over, toss well before serving, and sprinkle with parsley

SERVING
6. Serve with garlic bread, salads
