Italian Sausages in Pepper Basil Sauce

Ingredients
  Sweet italian sausage 3⁄4 Pound
  Onion 1
  Garlic 1
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Bell peppers 3 Small (Red / Green)
  Tomatoes 2
  Fresh basil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Black pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1) Into a large skillet, fry the sausages till brown
2) Remove the sausages from the pan and keep aside
3) Using a sharp knife, chop the onions roughly
4) Mince the garlic through a garlic press
5) Into the skillet, saute the onions and the garlic till soft
6) Using the knife, deseed the peppers and cut into strips
7) Add the chopped basil and the peppers to the skillet and cook for an additional 3 minutes
8) Using the knife, chop the tomatoes roughly
9) Into a skillet, add the peppers, tomatoes, basil and sausages
10) Cover the skillet with a lid and cook till the liquid is reduced and thickened

SERVING
11) Serve the sausages warm
