Chicken Cacciatore With Condensed Tomato Soup

Ingredients
  Chicken parts 2 Pound
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Condensed tomato soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Chopped onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dry red wine/Chianti 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic cloves 2 Large, minced
  Crushed oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Medium, cut in strips
Directions

MAKING
1. In a skillet add shortening and brown the chicken. Pour off the fat in another bowl.
2. Mix in the rest of the ingredients except pepper.
3. Cook, keeping the skillet covered for 30 minutes.

FINALIZING
4. Add pepper
5. Cook for further 15 minutes, till the chicken is cooked.
6. Stir for thorough cooking.

SERVING
7. Serve chicken cacciatore with pasta.
