Italian Prune Crispy
White sugar - 1/2 cup
Ground nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
Packed brown sugar - 3/4 cup
All-purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Quick cooking or regular oats - 1/2 cup
Butter or margarine- 1/3 cup, melted
1) Take a mixing bowl and mix prunes with sugar and nutmeg. Place the prunes on a 9-inch square baking pan.
2) In another bowl combine brown sugar, oats, flour and melted butter.
3) Sprinkle the flour mixture over the prunes and bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes.
4) Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
