Linguine With Three Cheese Sauce
|Spinach linguine||1 Pound (1 Package)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (1/2 Stick)|
|Light cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Swiss cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), grated|
|Parsley||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
1 As per the label directions, cook linguine.
2 In the meantime, in a medium saucepan, heat butter and cream until the butter melts.
3 Add in the swiss cheese, Cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
4 Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce the sauce is smooth and well blended. Keep warm.
5 Drain linguine thoroughly.
6 In a large bowl, mix linguine along with cheese mixture; toss well to coat linguine evenly.
7 Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and parsley (optional)
