Pesto Beef Swirls
|Steak sauce||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pignoli nuts/Walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dried basil leaves||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Beef flank steak||2 Pound, pounded to 1/2-inch thickness|
In blender or food processor, blend all ingredients except steak to a coarse paste; spread over top of steak.
Cut steak across grain into eight 1 -inch-wide strips.
Roll up each strip from short edge; secure with wooden toothpick.
Grill over medium heat for 7 to 8 minutes on each side or until done, brushing often with additional steak sauce.
Remove toothpicks; serve immediately.
